Your Attitude Matters
I met many athletes who were talented. Some of them have collected many Achievements. And I saw some of their preparation before the competition. They work hard, even harder than others. I know that talent can’t stand alone. It must be trained seriously. They did it.
But … this one is more important than talent or achievement.
It’s about attitude.
Someone will be the real champion when they have a good attitude. Because it will make his achievement live longer. Because achievement is not the destination. Achievement is just a ‘vehicle’ that brings us to reach the highest dream. And the highest dream usually is not for ourselves, but for others. Achievement should not make us greedy or stingy.
Your attitude matters, brother.
“Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude.” -Zig Ziglar
Ya. I do agree with the quote.
I saw an athlete who is humble is greater than their achievement. Actually, we don’t need to be great by being a great man. Because, attitude matters, if you know what I mean.
Khabib Numagomedov is one of my favorite MMA players. He is a role model of a fighter. His character and attitude represent the real champion that I told before. I always remember his simple but meaningful statement. He said, “God (Allah) is number one. Sport is number two.”
I don’t know how great your achievement is. Your attitude is more important.
So, just show your attitude.
