It is always interesting to talk about working life. I like talking about it because it is a part of life. Maybe, we spend the majority of time on it. So, we should think more about it more often.

There are many jobs out there. We can choose one of them. However, there is a job that is suitable for us, and there isn’t. We can be happy working at it or vice versa. This happiness indicates the quality of our life. If we are not excited about working on something, so why do we do that?

Sometimes, this happiness is relative. Some people are still happy being busy with the job. It reminds me of IKIGAI. I know that the meaning of IKIGAI is a reason for being or about the happiness of being busy at work.

Once we find the right job, we can be happy all day, even though we are busy. We are busy doing what we love or doing what we are mastering.

I find my happiness is when I can work anytime and anywhere in the world. I mean, I don’t want to get stuck in one place. The Work From Home phenomenon has been changed my perspective about working. I realize that we can work anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.

I know not all people will fit this working style, but this is my style. By working from anywhere, I can refresh my thought and gain creativity. It seems not easy to achieve more in one office cubicle.

Many employees always enjoy their day off. It means they need more time to refresh their mind and body. Then, what if we can do it all the time while boosting our working performance? The solution is to work anywhere. And the result is the happiness of being busy.

What do you think about it? Should we be happy at work?

From now on, we should focus on choosing the job that makes us happy. We should work for happiness (WFH). The happiness criteria may be different from each other, so you have to identify this criterion.

What are your criteria to be happy?
What job do you love?
What job relates to your skills?
What suitable environment for you?
What is your working style?

Those five questions will guide you to find the happiness of being busy, the happiness formula.

You won’t find this happy job instantly. But don’t worry. You will find it as long as you dig dive into it.

However, ideal working is not only about being happy. It’s also about self-development. It’s good to find a job that makes you happy. But it’s better to find the job that makes you happy and makes you improve.

Happy + improvement = ideal job.

Try to find your ideal job by using that formula.

The conclusion is you can choose any job you want. But think about your happiness and self-development too. To me, an ideal job is when we can be happy and feel improving at it. Working is a long journey. Don’t forget to find your happiness along the way.
