What Do You Feel Right Now?

Don’t be sad. You are not alone, my friend.

I know this life is not always as good as our expectations.

We want to be happy all the time, right? But, sometimes we feel that there is something wrong with our life. There is something wrong with our inner side. We turn to be sad and helpless. Perhaps, you have ever ask, “Why does this happen to me?

I had ever struggled with a hard time in life. When I felt that there is no hope.

This feeling made me down for some period of time. But then, I used to feel this condition. I don’t hate the bad condition anymore.

When the pandemic comes, many people get the impact. They don’t imagine before that life will change massively. Including me. But I try to think that this pandemic is a proper time to reflect on our inner side. Our emotion. What I feel right now is calm. I mean when I do quarantine at home, I can become my own therapist. The inner therapist. I learn more about how to manage our conditional emotions.

I dare say that fear and anxiety only happen in our mind. When we can control our mind, we can control our feeling. Those are linked together. A negative thought will attract negative feelings and vice versa. The negative things always subtract our hope. But the positive things always add value to our hope. Does it make sense?

Our mind is like clear water. When we put a coffee into the water, it becomes coffee. But when we put milk into the water, it becomes milk. The color changes. The color shifts.

That’s why, we can still have a clear mind, if we put a clear thought, a positive thought.

The question is, “How to practically manage our feeling?”

Let me give you an example. It is what I do.

You can sit on the floor with a small mattress. Separate yourself from any distractions. Take a deep breath. Inhale and exhale your breath slowly. Think clearly about your feeling. Feel it. Be grateful because you are still alive. Imagine that you have to be realistic because the negative feeling won’t add value to your life. Say something positive silently.

You can say, “I’m happy right now. I’m healthy right now. My life is really amazing. Thank God for your kindness.”

Repeat those words three times or more. Slow but sure.

Whenever you are feeling stress or helpless, you can turn yourself to become an inner therapist. You can mindful to control your thought and emotion. Break the negatives. Because your life today is priceless. It is the exact time to live your life positively. You deserve to be fulfilled. You deserve to be happy.
