The Era of a Cashless Society
Try to remind the history of how people buy something.
At first, people buy something by doing barter. Years later, people do it by using coins. Then, people do it by using paper money. And then, people do it by transferring via a bank account.
Now, we can buy something by using an app on a smartphone. Even we don’t need to make a bank account because of it.
We call the last one: cashless.
What do you think about this method? Do you like it or not?
As we know, some companies transform their system to digital, especially Fintech companies. They encourage people to use the cashless method than cash. They try to make our transactions easier.
Anyway, this cashless method helps me to maintain my money. I can save my money in my fintech account. I can use it to buy something online without going to the bank. Even, I can sell something. Then I ask people to transfer cashlessly.
Now let me tell you the pros and cons of the cashless method.
The pros
There are pros to the cashless method. The first pro is in the practicability. We do not need to hold money all day because our money is safe in the Fintech account, like an e-wallet. The second pro is in the easiness. The app is easy to use. Other people can transfer money to our account number or by a QR Code. The third pro is flexibility. We can use it for any purpose, like paying for a product, public transportation, medical service, etc.
The con
There is also a con. It is in an internet connection because we cannot use it unless we are online. So, we should be online all the time.
However, that con is not a big problem. We need to afford the internet quota for our smartphones instead.
Based on the condition of society, I think the cashless method is still better than cash. It minimizes the loss of money in the street or public places. But, no problem if you want to use cash for a small amount of money.
I will not force you to use the cashless method, but I want to share what I know about it and why it is good for you and our society.
The conclusion is that the cashless method will be our culture sooner or later. We can use it to make our money transactions more practical, easier, and flexible.
