Specific Goals

Do you think that your goal is specific enough?

I’ve ever thought that my goal is not specific. That’s why I didn’t reach my previous goal easily. It’s like we run on the road but we don’t specify the finish line.

I realize that it’s important to focus on a specific goal rather than an abstract goal.

For example, I didn’t set a specific goal for my previous article. I just write what I want to write without thinking about the structure and a specific amount of words. It is simple but important. It made me a little bit confused in writing the article.

Once I made a clear, specific goal like structuring and determining the number of words in my article, I become conscious of the content that I want to write. Like in running, I know the specific distance and the finish line.

In other words, a specific goal can help us to make a clear destination.

What is your goal right now? is it specific?

It’s time to set a specific goal.

You can use a SMART way in setting goals. Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic, and Timely. But I try to underline the specific aspect of this article.

Okay.

I hope you can achieve your goals: life goals, relationship goals, financial goals, business goals, healthy lifestyle goals, and so on.

Brian Tracy once said,

“People with clear, written goals, accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without them could ever imagine.”

Good luck!
