In the past, I used to be wasteful with my money. I couldn’t control my expenses. I felt sad when my wallet was empty. I didn’t think about the consequence of it. I paid for something because I wanted it.

But, I then realized that I should be careful with my expenses. There was something more important to spend. I chose to use the money for long-term goals.

I remember someone who prepared his money for several years later. He was ready for retirement, so he would not think about the money when he retired. He prepared for his family’s needs and his children’s education loans long before they went to school.

I learn from him that it’s better to think about long-term consequences. Not only about our money but also about our actions.

The money we spend will influence our future. So do our actions.

Then I’m interested in managing my money. It’s not about how much money I have but how I use it. In other words, it’s not about the nominal but the usage.

Do you use your money wisely?

Here, I want to encourage you to manage money effectively. Let’s say you have 100 dollars in your pocket. You have to use all of it. You have some choices to spend it, but you have to choose one or two.

How do you use it?

Will you use it for business capital?
Will you use it for investment?
Will you use it for buying stuff?
Or will you use it for charity?

The choice is yours.

If you want to build a business company, I suggest you do it. One hundred dollars is enough to produce a product or service. You can choose a product or service that people need because business is related to the satisfaction of our customers. You can’t force your ideal side. However, you can find a product based on your passion and your customer’s need.

For example,
Your passion is climbing.
Your customer’s need is climbing apparel.
So, you can sell climbing apparel products for climbers.

But, you are free to choose another alternative. You can use your money for investment, meaning you have to learn about investment.

Or, if you want to buy stuff is up to you. But I suggest you purchase something that supports your career.

Or you can use your money for charity. It’s good. Giving money to someone or a charity foundation will not make you lose money. Believe it or not, the money will come back to you in other forms. It’s like energy exchange. You give positive energy so that you will get another positive energy.

Life is fair.

The conclusion is simple, use your money wisely. And be grateful for what you have.
