Heal Your Fear
I have one fear. Fear if I cannot do my best for the planet Earth. This fear always haunts me. I always believe my role is not only for my family or country but for the planet as a whole. I have always felt a great responsibility for the betterment of it. This fear may be exaggerated, but that is how it is.
After thinking about it, this fear made my steps heavier, as if I had to do impactful things. Finally, I minimized this fear by doing my best, even in small things like this article. This is just a simple article, but I write for the sake of your progress and the progress of this Earth. I minimize this fear with these simple things.
Everyone may have their fears. Whether small or big. A short-term fear. Or the fear that always makes you difficult to sleep.
I want to help those of you who have fears. We can heal together. May the Earth always be filled with the energy of love and happiness, not fear.
The question is, why are we afraid?
So, we must first know what factors make us feel afraid. According to my experience, this fear can come from internal and external factors. Internal fear happens because we worry too much about ourselves. This worry is just an illusion of the mind. On the other hand, external fear happens because of external things that are real, such as crime or frightening living conditions, like the living conditions of Palestinians.
Do you think the cause of your fear is internal or external?
We can overcome these fears. We must reduce the scale of internal and external fears. It means we need to reduce the fear level when the feeling appears because these feelings can grow.
Then, what should we do precisely?
The easiest thing to cure fear is to control the intensity of the fear. The intensity of fear that must be controlled and reduced can be from the visual images in our brain, the feelings felt in our body, or the sounds in our minds that give rise to fear.
If you use a visual image, try to change the image while sitting quietly and closing your eyes. Change the fearful image in your mind to a more pleasant one. It is like changing the storyboard in a movie. Change your fearful self-image to a braver self-image.
It is the same with feelings. Try to reduce the intensity of the fear you feel in your body. For example, you feel an uncomfortable feeling swirling in your stomach when you feel afraid. Try reducing the intensity of that feeling in the stomach and slowing down the rotation. Feel the rotation slow down until it makes you feel comfortable.
Then, if it is the sound, refine the words and change the sentences to be more positive. For example, if you hear a voice, “You are scared!” Change it to, “You are brave!” Anyway, change the sentence structure, tone, or intonation in your mind.
Lastly, it is time for us to recover from fear because fear makes life uncomfortable. Together, we can minimize and eliminate fear from our lives. Life would be more beautiful without fear.
