Some people give up before reaching the finish line. They try harder, but they stop. It seems hard to complete what we started. But the fact that we want to achieve something as fast as possible. And when we cannot reach it on time, we will get depressed and disappointed.

You know that our effort is not enough to achieve what we want. We also need grit or perseverance. We need it during the process. I have talked about it in my previous article. You can read it through the link below.

Anyway, I start my writing journey without knowing many things about writing. I try to write what I want to write. I don’t know whether the writing is good or not.

But I realize that one try, two tries, two hundred tries is not enough until I get closer to what I dream. Everybody needs grit. No matter what they do. No matter what their job. It fits all fields.

In short, grit is like stamina when we run a marathon. We need it to cross the finish line. We need it to achieve what we want.

How to change grit to great?

It is interesting. Greatness is a good result. We cannot achieve it overnight, except we have been an expert. And to be an expert, we need the power of grit. We need more stamina to try more, learn more, and fail more.

Yap. The last one is right. We need to fail more. Improvement often comes from failure to failure.

It means we can produce great things when we have more grit. Grit makes great.

Sometimes, greatness is like imagination, but it is achievable. Pursuing great results doesn’t mean we are arrogant. It’s like the finish line in our career or profession.

The conclusion is that we need to try harder for the long-term result without giving up and without losing enthusiasm.
